Sheryl Sandberg was recently quoted, saying in relation to women and their careers, “We hold ourselves back in ways both big and small, by lacking self-confidence, by not raising our hands, and by pulling back when we should be learning.” We think that many people would agree. But, it does take some skills and techniques to be able to do that.
Playing Your Own Game: Our next event is the first in a two part series where we discuss some “tips and tricks” for improving confidence and learning the art of leading using your own strengths. To help facilitate this discussion it is our pleasure to have:
Daniela Sfameni, HR Executive at UBS AG Daniela has been working in the Human Resources profession for over 20 years. Prior to UBS, she worked in many different HR Executives roles within Allianz SE, Allianz Global Investors Group and Allianz Asset Management; HYPO BANK (today UniCredit) and the German Treuhandanstalt focusing on Venture Capital and MBO/MBI projects. She has a Masters in Law from the University of Hamburg, is a Founding Member of the Board of Directors of the Human Capital Club and a Certified Omega Health Coach (Dr. med. Roy Martina). Daniela’s years of experience in both the legal and HR profession bring a great perspective on how women can effectively navigate their own way though organizational politics.
